Reminder - as an agent, you may NOT:

  • Erase/remove another agent's e-app/paper app signature and replace it with their own
  • Erase/remove and replace an e-app/paper signature date with a current date
  • Sign for a customer - e-app or paper application
  • Initial for a customer - e-app or paper application

Electronic Application Signature Requirements:

At the time of carrier contracting, make sure you fully understand all electronic application signature requirements. Signature verification guidelines differ by carrier, and if the sales presentation is face-to-face vs. a telephonic presentation. If you are not sure, contact the carrier for clarification.
